Web Summit 2024

Nov 25, 2024

Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon, one of the largest and most dynamic tech events in the world. As first-time exhibitors, we were thrilled to showcase our new software for positive peer recognition—a platform designed to foster stronger, more collaborative workplace cultures by empowering employees to recognise each other’s great work and comradery.

From the moment the doors opened, it was clear that Web Summit 2024 was buzzing with energy and innovation. The first day was all about finding our way around and chatting to lots of interesting companys with really cool startups. Fitting in time for talks was more difficult that we thought it would be, as there was so much to see and do.

The second day was a bit more settled and Conall spoke at the start up showcase. There were some pre-talk nerves, countered with ten minutes of Wim Hoff breathing. Overall it went fantastic.

In the last day, we we had a designated booth to showcase our startup. Our booth became a hub of activity as attendees, ranging from startups to industry giants, stopped by to learn more about our software.

The concept of positive peer recognition seemed to strike a chord with people across industries. As we demoed the platform, many attendees shared stories about their own workplace experiences and the challenges of fostering team morale in today’s hybrid work environments. Hearing their feedback validated what we’ve believed all along: there’s a real need for tools that help people feel appreciated and connected at work.

Our t-shirts were designed to grab peoples attention and they sure worked...

One of the most rewarding aspects of Web Summit was the opportunity to receive live, in-the-moment feedback from potential users and industry experts.

We really appreciate all the feedback everyone gave and all the tips and encouragement on our entrepreneurship journey ❤️
